As 2025 comes to a close, I took a moment to look back on what our customers loved most this year.
This was Spa Threads’ first year in business, full of surprises, a lot of learning, and so much gratitude for everyone who supported this new brand from day one. As a women-owned small business in Colorado, we’re proud of what we’ve built so far, and we’re genuinely thankful for every order, message, and referral that helped us grow. Here’s to an even bigger 2026. 💛

When I launched, I started with four massage table sheet sets in Dusty Rose, Velvet Plum, Lagoon Blue, and Chill Chive spa sheets. I thought offering sets would be the simplest way to begin, but very quickly (thanks to feedback on social media!) I learned that many of you wanted more flexibility. That’s how 2025 is ending with so much more than just sets. We now offer separates: individual flat sheets, fitted sheets, and packs of three face cradle covers, along with the complete set for those who want everything together.
One of the biggest surprises of the year? How many people only wanted to purchase a fitted sheet! I never expected that to be a bestseller of the separates. And the real fan favorite? The set of face cradle covers. Massage therapists especially loved having extras on hand, so going forward, you can expect me to keep those very well stocked.
The color of the year ended up being Velvet Plum, which honestly shocked me (in the best way). When I scroll through social media, I usually see earthy greens and blues in massage treatment rooms and lots of pinks in esthetics studios. So when the plum was poppin’ off, I was so excited!
As for who I served the most this year, the majority of my customers were massage therapists who run their own small businesses. My background (and current business) is in esthetics, so learning what massage therapists want and need for their treatment tables has been eye-opening. Everyone has their own style and preferences, but the feedback you’ve shared has helped me think differently, plan better, and dream up even more products and colors for 2026.
What I Learned and What’s Coming in 2026?
2025 was a year of new beginnings, trial and error, unexpected favorites, and so much support. Going into 2026, I’m excited to bring:
MORE new colors
A new fabric offering
New patterns
New products
More experimenting and testing
And (hopefully!) a more consistent social media presence so I can stay connected with all of you.
Thank you for helping shape Spa Threads in its very first year. I look forward to showing you what’s coming next.
