Hi, my name is Sara, and I’m the creator of Spa Threads. I’d love to share what this little business means to me, and why every order and customer truly matters more than you might imagine.

Each time I open my laptop and see a new order, my heart leaps with joy. What makes it even more meaningful is knowing that the person behind that order is often another small business owner or beauty entrepreneur, just like me. We understand how challenging it can be to stand out against big box stores and large online retailers. To them, a purchase is nothing more than an order number. To me, it’s personal. I package every box myself, handwrite a thank-you note, and add small touches with the hope that when your package arrives, you feel how much love and care went into it, and that you adore your sheets as much as I do.

When you shop from a small business, you are directly supporting my ability to keep growing, creating, and offering more for our industry. I started Spa Threads because I saw a gap in the market. The linens available to us were plain and uninspiring, while I craved colors and bold patterns in my treatment room. I couldn’t launch everything overnight, but with each bit of support, Spa Threads can expand and bring more fun, stylish options to massage therapists, estheticians, and other beauty and wellness professionals.

Building Spa Threads has been a true labor of love. I learned how to enter the textile industry from scratch, visited workshops in North Carolina, tested samples with manufacturers, built my own website, and now package every order myself. I began this journey in the fall of 2023 while still running my skincare business as a solo esthetician. There’s no big warehouse or automated team behind the scenes; it’s just me! Every email, order, and social media comment is read and answered by a real person who cares deeply about this work.
